Sara Robinson’s “What Harry Potter Can Teach Us About JavaScript” talk at JSConf EU 2014.

This is an interesting talk for two reasons. Firstly, this is a great heads up about a few of the options and approaches you have available for doing client-side internationalisation in JavaScript. Second, the story of how the Harry Potter books were translated is fascinating. It would be very interesting to get a Chinese version translated back to English just to read the footnotes.

Well worth watching.
